Administrative Support and Services
Enabling Operations. Ensuring Compliance. Delivering Excellence.

The Administrative Support and Services Unit provides the operational backbone of the Office for Athletics and Sports Development. From finance, procurement, logistics, human resources, records management, and administrative services to varsity eligibility, accreditation, and institutional compliance, the unit ensures that athletes, coaches, and programs receive the support they need to operate efficiently and effectively.

Every resource managed, every process completed, and every requirement fulfilled enables the UP varsity program to focus on what matters most — developing champions.

Because excellence in sport is built on systems that work with integrity, efficiency, and accountability.

High Performance and Community Wellness
Optimizing Performance. Promoting Well-Being. Building Champions.

The High Performance and Community Wellness Unit equips UP student-athletes with the scientific, medical, and holistic support needed to achieve their highest potential. Through sports science, strength and conditioning, nutrition, sports medicine, injury prevention, mental wellness, and performance monitoring, the unit helps athletes train smarter, recover better, and compete at the highest level while safeguarding their overall well-being.

Every training session enhanced, every injury prevented, and every athlete cared for contributes to sustained excellence — on the field, in the classroom, and beyond.

Because peak performance begins with a healthy body, a resilient mind, and a strong support system.

Resource Mobilization and Alumni Relations
Building Partnerships. Engaging Communities. Sustaining Excellence.

The Resource Mobilization and Alumni Relations (RMAR) Unit builds the partnerships, communities, and support systems that enable UP to develop champions, shape leaders, and serve the nation through sport. Through strategic partnerships, alumni engagement, communications, volunteer development, and storytelling, RMAR mobilizes the resources, networks, and support that empower UP student-athletes to excel in sport, academics, and service to the nation.

Every partnership forged, every story shared, every volunteer mobilized, and every alum re-engaged strengthens the community behind our student-athletes.

Empowering champions takes more than talent — it takes a community united behind every UP Fighting Maroon.

Student-Athletes' Welfare
Supporting Athletes. Nurturing Growth. Championing Success.

The Student-Athletes' Welfare Unit is dedicated to the holistic development of UP student-athletes throughout their varsity journey. By providing academic support, personal development programs, life skills training, psychosocial assistance, career preparation, and welfare services, the unit helps athletes balance the demands of sport and academics while preparing them for life beyond competition.

Every challenge overcome, every milestone achieved, and every student-athlete empowered reflects UP's commitment to developing not only exceptional competitors, but principled leaders and citizens.

Because every student-athlete deserves the opportunity to thrive — in competition, in the classroom, and in life.
